Machines recognize images. Speakers listen to our word. Artificial intelligence and algorithms determine how we consume media. Neural networks translate texts in a matter of seconds. What does this change mean for creators and consumers of audiovisual content? Do supercomputers make creative people and experts superfluous or does this development open up completely new possibilities and opportunities for us? What contribution can AI-driven innovations make to accessibility and European understanding? What applications are there for companies?
We will devote a day to these questions. Together with experts, we will discuss ideas and approaches for solutions in AI, language and translation in audiovisual media. We will present new approaches that use technology to make workflows leaner and more efficient. We show how language boundaries can be left behind and format boundaries overcome.
We are looking forward to speakers from DFKI, IRT, Flemish television, ARTE, ZDF, the EU and the Fraunhofer Institute.
